Guided Observership 

As an optional capstone, participants can undertake a 1–2 week guided observership at any of the below four Centers of Excellence in India and the UK. These centers are run by renowned vestibular specialists and has high patient footfall as well as state-of-the-art diagnostic and rehabilitation tools—ensuring real-world exposure to best-in-class care and outcomes. During the observership, you’ll shadow clinics end-to-end (triage → assessment → investigations → rehab planning), sit in on case discussions and mentoring huddles, and observe the use of VNG, vHIT, VEMP, posturography, rotary chair, and advanced VRT/VR modules where available. All observation follows strict patient-privacy and consent protocols; learning materials use de-identified data. On completion, you’ll receive an observership certificate acknowledging your clinical exposure.

Terms:

  • It is not mandatory to do observership to receive course completion certificate.

  • Seats are limited and allocated via a simple application process after course enrollment.

  • Participants need to indicate their order of preference of the centers in the application.

  • Barring UCL, there is no additional fee for observership at any of the centers.

  • Participants need to cover all their expenses during the course of the observership including but not limited to travel stay, F&B, visa (where applicable) and all such expenses.

  • Some of the centers might have their own selection process and slots might not be immediately available.

  • A separate email will be sent in due course on the exact process and steps involved.

  • Course curriculum, faculty and content shown here is indicative and might undergo changes. The final modules along with faculty names will be shared with participants prior to course commencement.

Terms and conditions:

  • Seats to this hybrid course are limited and available on a first come first serve basis.

  • You may transfer the registration to someone else, but cannot cancel the registration after making the payment. Payment will not be refunded once registration is confirmed.

  • The course fee includes attendance to all online sessions, all hands on training sessions, course material if any as well as lunch during hands on sessions.

  • Hands on sessions will be held at KMC Manipal, Manipal.

  • Exact dates of hands on sessions will be shared on email post registration.

Accommodation

We have a few rooms at KMC Manipal campus available at nominal prices on a first come first serve basis. Details on how to book the same will be sent once the registration formalities are completed. If you are unable to secure one of these rooms on campus, you can book any of the hotels closer to the campus.
